The project is situated on a mountainous terrain, reflecting the region's characteristic features with its rich tree cover and rocky structures. Its proximity to Erecek village makes the project appear as a natural extension of the village, offering a harmonious living space with its surroundings.
Comprising a total of 16 residences, each unit stands out with its unique facade design. These homes, enriched with broken facade applications, are positioned on three separate levels. This layout ensures that each house maintains its view while minimising mutual interference. Each home's facade is shaped by a distinct design philosophy, with interior arrangements also varying from one another.
Erecek Valley aims to create a nature-friendly appearance by blending the texture and durability of local materials with modern lines. The design of the broken facades is inspired by the dilapidated houses of Erecek village nearby. Drawing from the lived experiences of these historical structures, the project seeks to preserve these elements: the broken facades serve as a tribute to the village's past and cultural heritage. Additionally, some of the ruined buildings in the village are expected to be preserved in the future, leading to a concept that aligns with their texture. The goal is to maintain and integrate the overall texture of the village with the project. This approach reflects the historical and cultural heritage of the village in harmony with both the existing structures and the new development.
While offering a modern living space that blends nature, history, and local culture, the project adopts a design philosophy that respects the village's past and its character.
